I’m a mentor!

I applied to join The Official Second Life Volunteer Program, where I am a mentor to newbies. You know, just station myself at some orientation island or info hub or anywhere for that matter to assist those who are confused about Second Life, where to go, what to do, basically to help the newbies adjust to life in Second Life. I see nothing traumatic about that but I was lost once too so I was eager to join. It is not just any volunteer program but one that is official. The minimum requirement is as follows:-

- Have a desire to help your fellow Residents

- Have been in-world for at least six months

- Have no suspensions on your disciplinary history

Lucky for me, I met all requirements. So I filled in the form, explained why I want to be in and some time went by. I think 1 month or so when suddenly I received an email as follows:-
